Time To Unleash (Vic Vendetta sets up his cam corder in the family room of his apartment. Before he can hit record however, his girlfriend Nikki walks into the room. She looks over at the camera and then at him with an annoyed expression on her face.)Nikki: Don't tell me you are about to film some stupid promo thing instead of watching a movie with me and Gambit. (Vic shakes his head.)Vendetta: Come on Nikki, don't start with me right now. Nikki: I just don't understand why you want to pursue this ridiculous hobby when you should be spending time with me and our kitty. (Vic takes a breath, trying to remain calm.)Vendetta: First off, this isn't a “ridiculous hobby”... Nikki: Oh I forgot, it's a steady career. (Now Nikki shakes her head in disapproval as a small gray tiger kitten runs into the room and stops right at Vic's feet.)Vendetta: I know you don't agree with me pursuing my wrestling career but too bad, we've been over this countless times. SECONDLY... I am NOT the one who wanted to adopt this kitten! (Just as Vic says this, Gambit decides to leap onto his feet with his claws. Vic immediately kicks him away as Nikki picks him up in her arms.)Vendetta: SEE! He is nothing but trouble. Nikki: Oh relax, he's just playing. He IS a kitten after all. Vendetta: He's a pest. Nikki: And sometimes you're a stubborn foolish a**hole. (Nikki turns and storms out of the room as Vic runs his hands through his hair in frustration. He loves her, yet her unwillingness to support his career in the wrestling business really puts a strain on their relationship. Vic realizes this isn't the time to focus on this issue because he needs to be in the right mindset for what he needs to do. He takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out before he leans forward, hitting the record button on his cam corder. The picture on our television comes to life as we see Vic Vendetta sitting on his couch with a smile on his face.)Vendetta: When I was first training for this business, I was given a lot of great advice. One of those pieces of advice was to always take advantage of every single opportunity that comes your way. That is exactly what I have done here in SX. The door opened for me to sign with this company and I was thrilled at that opportunity. Once I arrived, I was given another opportunity, the biggest opportunity of my entire career actually. (Vic brushes his hair out of his face as he continues.)Vendetta: I got the chance to prove that I was deserving of a spot in the main event at Unleashed to compete for the SX World Championship. I won my shot and now I will be competing against the best of the best that this company has to offer. Four other men will be in this match with me, all of them will be looking to achieve the exact same goal... walk out of the pay-per-view as the SX World Champion.
I have never been a World Champion, hell I'll be perfectly honest right now... I have never been a champion, period. I look to change all that in just a few more days as I will push myself further than I ever have before. I know I will be stepping into the ring against four of the toughest competitors I have ever faced. I know it will not be easy to be the one getting my hand raised in victory at Unleashed, and honestly I know that I might not win the title. (Vic pauses as he considers that last statement.)Vendetta: I am not going to be one of these guys who claims he is unbeatable because everybody loses from time to time. I plan on winning at Unleashed and becoming new SX World Champion but I will not be so arrogant as to guarantee it like some others might.
So to those other four competitors, Drexl... California Kid... Rey Leone... and most importantly, Jaysin Dread... at Unleashed I am going to bring everything I've got to this match. Win or lose... you all will see first hand that when it comes to this business, my attitude never changes. NEVER QUIT... NEVER SURRENDER!(Vic smiles as he reaches forward and turns off the camera, leaving our screens nothing but static.)

Champion
1. someone who has won first place in a competition 2. someone who fights for a cause 3. supporter: a person who backs a politician or a team etc.; "all their supporters came out for the game"; "they are friends of the library" 4. protect or fight for as a champion 5. ace: someone who is dazzlingly skilled in any field 6. holding first place in a contest; "a champion show dog"; "a prizewinning wine"
Each definition has it's own unique meaning. In professional wrestling. It's a lot more simplified and cuts right to the point. A champion is someone who is not only the best at what they do but the measuring stick of a promotion. A champion is the man that carries the torch. The poster boy of the company that defines everything that company is worth. In a way some of these definitions are the same as being a champion. Holding first place in a contest, or someone who fights for a cause. A champion is both of those things.
There are several kinds of champions... The low card, mid card, upper card, and the big one. Like the saying goes, in order to walk you must first crawl. The same goes for the sport of wrestling. In order to one day become the World Champion you need to work your way up from being a low card curtain opener to winning small titles. Once you win small titles you establish yourself as an up and coming star... every title from then on is a step closer to the ultimate goal of being a World Champion.
Being World Champion sets you in a league of it's own. An elite group that only a small few ever enter. It's rare when a man climbs the ladder to prosperity so fast. Without any pass experience with titles, without any accolades to back him.... But at Unleashed I, Rey Leone have the opportunity to go straight for the biggest prize in SX. The World Championship,
I never won a title in professional wrestling, I never claimed to be unbeatable. But I have determination and heart. I will become a World Champion and my time is now... No more being in Jose Chavez's shadow, no longer being considered an inconsistent performer that doesn't give it his all... I am on a hunt, a hunt to win the World Championship at any cost.
The match is a Elimination Chamber match. The most barbaric match in wrestling today. Four other men are in this match and all are determined to become World Champion. I however am the most determined. I have yet to prove my worth but it all changes at Unleashed.
California Kid, the man that made “Hollywood Wrestling” what it is today... What is that exactly? A second rate to SX. A company that I will manhandle without hesitation and without help. Cali Kid is a pretty boy that believes the world revolves around him. He also has his shades on too tight. Clearly he missed his scouting report on me. I'm 6'5 way bigger than that Homosexual Pornstar.
Drexl, a loser that hasn't done much in his career except a small bit of tag team action here and there. He's going down first and I hope that he realizes that he's not ready for the explosiveness from a man like me.
Vic Vendetta, he's probably my biggest challenge... He's never been a champion but like me, he's determined and he's a future star of SX. He's going to be main eventing for some time to come. I look forward to facing him head on. It will be great.
Last but not least Jaysin Dread, the reigning World Champion. He's good, but I don't think he's hungry. I think he's slacked off ever since winning the World Championship. I don't think he has what it takes to hold on long to the championship belt. He's not cut out for this in the long run. He's a man that feels that he can slack off now that he's won the big prize in Sports X.
Unleashed is my moment of glory, this will be the night that everyone will forever remember my name....

Proving Myself (We the viewers at home, are once again brought a close up shot of Vic Vendetta as he hits the record button on his cam corder. He has a very serious expression on his face. )Vendetta: I will be arriving in Montreal early tomorrow morning, where I will have my last few hours to prepare for the biggest opportunity of my life. Tomorrow night at Unleashed, it's not all about becoming Champion for me. It's about proving myself, proving that I not only can succeed in this business but that I BELONG in this business. (Vic pauses long enough to run his hand through his hair.)Vendetta: I remember the day like it was yesterday, I was eight years old, laying on the floor watching wrestling on television. My father, who was drunk like always, walked into the room and looked down at me. I remember shooting to my feet and running to his side with excitement filling every part of my body, I thought I was going to explode of happiness. I looked up at him and said, “Daddy I am going to be just like them some day!” (Vic pauses again, remembering how his father responded that night.)Vendetta: My father looked at the wrestlers on the TV and then down at me with a smile on his face. Little did I know that smile wasn't that of a supporting, loving father... but instead of a bitter, vile, bastard of a father. He started laughing and I remember his words to this very day, “Son, you will never be a wrestler because you are and will always be nothing more than a pathetic loser.” (Anger nows seems to fill Vendetta's eyes and expression as he continues.)Vendetta: How can a father say such hurtful, evil things to his eight year old son? That was the life I grew up with, a father who no matter what I did, always saw me as a complete failure. Well now I finally have my chance to prove it to myself at Unleashed that my father was and is wrong.
I'm not a loser, I am not a complete failure and I will do everything in my power to make sure I see success tomorrow night. I need to prove it to myself that he was a drunken fool and I can become a Champion. Tomorrow night, four other competitors seek victory but NONE of them have the drive behind their desire to win that I do.
California Kid sees me as a joke, obviously not taking me seriously at all. From what I could tell, he isn't taking this match seriously, which is down right disrespectful considering he has a shot at the biggest prize in SX. California Kid has a huge opportunity and he is going to let his ego allow it to slip right through his fingers. Kid, mark my words... I am no clown and tomorrow night in that chamber, you will realize that first hand.
I've teamed with Drexl and we have our history against CBC however that will not cause me to go easy on him in this match. He has yet to voice his opinion on it and that's a shame in my view. I expected more from a competitor such as himself, I just hope he brings it tomorrow night.
The Champion himself hasn't even said one word about this huge title defense that is looming in front of him. In my view, Jaysin Dread has taken being Champion for granted and that all ends at Unleashed. Jaysin, you hold the SX World Championship... you are at the top of the mountain right now. You are suppose to be the face of this company yet we haven't heard anything from you in regards to this match. Why? Is your arrogance that big? Are you bored with holding that title? Are you not prepared and just don't want the world to realize that? Whatever the cause may be Jaysin, if I walk out of the chamber with that SX World Title tomorrow night... I will be a rightful Champion. Unlike yourself Dread, Vic Vendetta shall be an honorable and worthy Champ.
Lastly there is Rey Leone, the man who will probably be my toughest challenge. He is the very man I defeated last week in one hell of a match. Rey, I have a great deal of respect for you and it shall be an honor to once again compete against you in this title match. I've got a good feeling it's going to come down to the two of us and whoever leaves as Champion, I know will do that belt proud. So Leone, good luck and bring everything you've got to this match because everybody knows I will be.
So SX... Vic Vendetta is ready to prove himself and if it's time for me to be World Champion, I look forward to fullfilling that role. Once again I say to my four opponents, when it comes to Vic Vendetta... it's always... NEVER QUIT... NEVER SURRENDER!(Vic reaches forward and turns off the record button as our television screens go to static.)

Failure
1. an act that fails; "his failure to pass the test" 2. an event that does not accomplish its intended purpose; "the surprise party was a complete failure" 3. lack of success; "he felt that his entire life had been a failure"; "that year there was a crop failure" 4. a person with a record of failing; someone who loses consistently 5. an unexpected omission; "he resented my failure to return his call"; "the mechanic's failure to check the brakes" 6. bankruptcy: inability to discharge all your debts as they come due; "the company had to declare bankruptcy"; "fraudulent loans led to the failure of many banks" 7. loss of ability to function normally; "kidney failure"
Failure... Is what I feel about my wrestling career thus far. What have I done? Who have I beaten? I've been spoon fed my entire career and now I have nothing but regrets in my career. My failure is more so of number 3 and 4. Someone with the lack of success and someone who has a knack for failing and not being able to achieve there goal.... That's the way I feel truthfully. Look at my career.... I was trained by wrestler Jose Chavez. He showed me the ropes and taught me the art of Lucha Libre. He even talks to AJ Supreme and gets me a contract in Razorback Championship Wrestling... How do I return the favor? By choking on stage, by making Jose look like he wasted his time investing in my talent.
I had the opportunity to make things right again.. I was offered a six figure deal at Pro Wrestling Evolution but turned it down because I didn't feel ready for the big stage and truth be told, I wasn't. I was still in shock on how terrible I was. Not my in ring ability, but my effort. It was disappointing to say the least. Here I was, one of the most hyped individuals that had the weight and height of a heavyweight but the speed of a cruiserweight, a man that caused controversy for the very mask that I wear.... I was all over the place and unfortunately I didn't live up to expectations.
My time away from wrestling was probably the hardest time in my entire life... Every waking moment I would day dream about my return to a wrestling ring and prove that I am not a failure. I dream about competing, I dream about being the best... Tonight, all that can change. That dream can become a reality and that reality can be my crowning moment. Everything can turn around for my wrestling career. It's not too late for me, I realized although I've failed time and time again, if I keep getting back up, I will not be deemed a failure but a man of heart and perseverance.
By qualifying in the Elimination Chamber, I became one step closer to my ultimate goal, winning the SX World Championship. This match isn't going to be a walk in the park. Preparing for this match was probably one of the hardest things for me to do. One look at this match and you think of a blood bath but it's not only about shredding your oppositions skin on the steel walls. This match will tire out even the best of us.
I have been doing some serious conditioning along with weight training and I have been working on my stamina. I don't see California Kid as a threat or Drexl. Both men are out of there leagues. The one true threat is Vic Vendetta. The man is just like me. He has everything to prove and gain from winning this match and becoming SX World Champion... Neither of us have ever held a World Title in any company, let alone a title in any company.. But in SX, the two of us have the opportunity to win this match. However only one of us will walk out of the barbaric elimination chamber as the SX World Champion.
Jaysin Dread or whatever you call yourself, you really disappoint me. I was looking for a challenge from the champion. Out of everyone in this company I expected more from you. You are the SX World Champion, the man that carries the company on it's back while your champion, your suppose to be the man that we all should look up to... Well I'm looking up and all I see is a man that is a bigger failure than myself. You don't deserve to be labeled as one of SX's best let alone a World Champion.
Just a few more hours and then the fireworks begin. Unleashed will be a night to remember, not only for the fans but for the wrestlers in the SX and the future stars in this company.
