WW: Live from Atlanta, Georgia, welcome to Sports Entertainment X's SLAM pay per view.
BL: It's great to be back.
WW: It's great to be back beside you Bev.
BL: Don't I know. I've seen you staring at my boobs all day Wilson.
WW: I wasn't.....
BL: You were.
WW: I was just checking your mic.
BL: Calm down Wilson, I'm not going to file a suit or anything. Have a beer and enjoy the night.
WW: And what a night we have in store.
BL: We're starting off with SX owner and CEO Benjamin Silverman, making his huge announcement with the new SX championship.
WW: That's not all Beverly. He's said that the new championship is only a small part of what he has planned for tonight. He's promised that he has an announcement that is going to shake up the whole foundation of SX, and that it will begin tonight.
BL: And it's beginning right now.
"Running From You" begins to play as Benjamin Silverman makes his way out to the ring. He points at the rampway as he does where there's two podiums. One on each side of the rampway. Inside the ring is a table with an orange cloth obviously covering the new championship belt. Silverman steps into the ring to a roar from the Atlanta crowd.
Silverman: It's been way too long since Sports Entertainment has had a pay per view right?
The crowd roars again.
Silverman: And people I promise you that you will definitely get your money's worth tonight. I strive to be better than other world "federations". Mediocrity isn't something that we allow in SX.
More cheers.
Silverman: But before we get to tonights action. I've got a few announcements to make. But I'd like to call out a couple of old friends to help me out with that.
"Step Into The Light" by Dust For Life begins to play and the SX fans jump to their feet. Slowly, Simple Simon Terry rises out of the floor as fog rolls around him.
WW: Oh my God! It's SST. He's here. He's in SX.
Simon steps over to the podium on the left as the fans go wild.
Silverman: I'm sure you guys know Simon Terry.
SST leans into the mic.
SST: Hello SX.
Wild cheers of "S.S.T." begin.
Just as the crowd begins to settle, "Forever" by Papa Roach begins to play and the crowd goes wild again. Drifter walks out onto the rampway waving to the SX crowd.
Drifter: Let the parade begin.
BL: That was a throwback to his Major League days Wilson.
WW: I noticed that too, but what's SST and Drifter doing here?
Silverman: So I guess you guys are wondering what these podiums are for, and why two of the biggest names in wrestling history are here.
The crowd cheers again.
Silverman: As you have seen, Sports Entertainment X has been impregnated by a new amount of awesome talent. Night of the Newcomers proved that. So I've decided to bring in a little help running things around here. Who better than these two guys Simple Simon Terry and Rhemses Trekker.
Crowd roar.
Silverman: So welcome to SX guys.
Drifter: Thanks Benjamin.
SST: It's great to be here.
Silverman: So what better way to kickoff SLAM pay per view than a huge announcement. An announcement that I promised would shake the whole foundation of SX. So starting immediately after tonights pay per view, Sports Entertainment X will be running not just Addiction, but also a second and just as prestigious brand known as SX Heat. All 40 of SX's superstars will be up for a draft starting right now.
The fans cheer for this announcement.
Silverman: We flipped a coin back stage to see who starts the draft, and who will be commissioner of each brand. SST will be head of Addiction, and Drifter will be the head of Heat. SST won the coin toss to start the draft. Each man will choose the first 5 superstars of their brand one at a time. The rest will be randomly drawn throughout the night. SST why don't you start things off by letting the fans know who is your first round draft pick for Addiction.
SST: That's easy enough Benjamin. I want that world championship on my show, so I'll go with the most contraversial man in SX, SX World Champion, Marquee.
BL: So the world championship will be on Addiction.
WW: Not so fast Beverly, Marquee still has to defend that title tonight against Slapstick.
Silverman: So Drifter, it's over to you, who's your first round Heat pick?
Drifter: So then my pick will be my choice for winner of the SX Sterling Championship in tonight's match. I'll pick the most contraversial WOMAN in SX today, Flea.
WW: That seems a little undexpected Beverly. Flea hasn't even had a match in SX until later tonight.
BL: It's easy to say that Drifter knows talent when he sees it.
Silverman: And your second choice, Simon?
SST: I call this an insurance policy on that world title, just in case Marquee doesn't win tonight. I'm going to go with his opponent for tonight, Slapstick.
Silverman: Drifter?
Drifter: My second pick is a guy that I see as a future world champion, "The Valedictorian" Russ Linus.
Silverman: Nice. SST?
SST: My third choice is also a champion right now, the SX Sterling Champion, Rob Milano Jr.
WW: That means as of right now, Addiction has both the World Chapion and the Sterling Champion.
BL: That could change by the end of the night though. Robbie Milano has to defend that title against Flea, which has already been chosen by Drifter for the Heat brand, and against another huge superstar Dezarus Miles who hasn't been chosen yet.
Drifter: Then I'll have to go with the odds at 66% of tonights triple threat and play the numbers. My third choice is Dezarus Miles.
Silverman: Simon?
SST: My fourth pick is to help keep things fair in SX, I have to make sure Drifter here doesn't show any special previlidges and I'm going to choose the last SX World champion, and Drifter's own nephew DJ Trekker.
Drifter smiles and applauds Simon's choice.
Drifter: Then I guess I too need to keep things fair as well, and I'll choose YOUR nephew Prince Terry.
Simon Terry applauds Drifter's choice as well.
Silverman: Okay guys, this is the final choice, make it count. After this last choice from each of you, the rest will be chosen randomly.
SST: Then I'll choose to keep the SX tag team champions, and I'll choose Robert Roads.
Drifter: And I'LL choose to keep the SX tag team champions on Heat, and I'll choose JOE DIRT.
WW: Wait, what does that mean?
BL: I have no idea. Dirt Road on two seperate shows?
WW: It seem's so.
Silverman: You guys have given me plenty to think about. Now, go back to your backstage suits and enjoy the rest of the show. I'll keep you informed on the rest of your roster throughout the night. Thanks again.....
Silverman pretends to exit the ring then turns around, mic in hand.
Silverman: Oh wait......I almost forgot the best part.
WW: The new title.
Silverman: I looks like Simon Terry has a lock on the SX World Championship at this point, whether Marquee or Slapstick either one walk out tonight the winner. So I can't have two brands equally prestigious without having TWO WORLD CHAMPIONS.
Silverman rips the orange cover off of the table revealing the new championship title.
Silverman: Drifter, I'd like you to see the new SX International World Championship.
BL: Who get's it? He should give it to Prince Terry, that's one hot piece of man meat.
WW: That's not how a championship should be determined.
Silverman: So I'll make my first and final judgement over Heat and then I'll leave it to you Drifter. On the first episode of Heat, there will be a 20 superstar battle royal involving everyone on Heat's roster after tonight. The winner of that match will be the NEW SX International Champion. Good luck guys, and enjoy the show.
On that note, Benjamin Silverman actually exits the ring this time.
