CEO Silverman announced this championship on 6/6/17 to be Addiction brand exclusive. The near hardcore championship can be defended or won in almost any style of match except a "normal" match. This includes but is not limited to ladder matches, cage matches, hardcore matches, street fights, weapons on a poll matches, bullrope matches, texas strap matches, among many other styles.
