Mid South Saturday Night came to Columbus, Mississippi and the Lavender Coliseum where the first round of the Mid South Championship took place.
In the first match of the night Alpha Dog kept his career undefeated streak going as he defeated Christopher Cambridge with a huge powerbomb. Alpha Dog moves on to round two of the Championship tournament.
In match two of the night, Carlos Ruiz proved that a bit of experience goes a long way. He used a small package and the help of the ropes to gain the victory over Micky Taggert.
Match three saw the second generation star, nephew of Rhemses Trekker, DJ Trekker defeat John Mark Moon with his own version of the "drift away".
In the final match of the night, the double debut match proved that Omega would be the better man this night. Omega defeated Azriel Cain to move one step closer to the Mid South Championship.
After the matches were finished, Eve Angeles came to the ring to announce the manager of Mid South Wrestling. After waiting for minutes, nobody showed. At the end of the night Eve apologized to the fans, but she announced the continuation of the Mid South Championship would continue on July 9th at The Old National Guard Armory in Amory, Mississippi.
